Peter M. Zaums was born in New York City, New York in 1944. After relocating to a suburb of Chicago, Illinois, where he was raised, he attended Xavier University 

in Cincinnati, Ohio and received a Bachelor of Science baccalaureate degree in English.

During the Vietnam War, he served three years in the United States Army in the Adjutant General Corp and was appointed to the Commanding General Staff of Headquarters USARYIS as a First Lieutenant. He received the Meritorious Medal for his services on the island of Okinawa, Japan in June 1970.

After his military service for our country was completed, he attended the University of Toledo School of Law, while married with two children and working at the United Parcel Service. Upon graduation in December 1972, he became a lawyer in the states of Michigan and Ohio in 1973, where he continues to serve as a general practitioner.

While beginning to practice law for a firm of 11 attorneys in Toledo, Ohio, he formed a partnership two years later and opened a law office in the Village of Temperance, Michigan and moved to Lambertville, Michigan. The partnership was dissolved in 1990 when he relocated to the Village of Lambertville, Michigan in Bedford Township, Monroe County.

As a general practitioner, he has focused on litigation, family law, real estate, and estate planning in the states of Michigan and Ohio. He is a member of the Toledo Bar Association, Monroe County Bar Association, Michigan State Bar Association and Ohio State Bar Association. 

He is a life-long member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Temperance, Michigan and donates his time and services to various charitable organizations in Bedford Township and the City of Toledo. 

Peter is a devoted husband of 41 years to Mary Lou Zaums, the principal of Bedford Junior High School and has three daughters, 8 grandchildren and a commitment to justice for all.

Korleen M. Bialecki was born and raised in Bedford Township, Michigan.  She graduated from the University of Toledo with her Bachelor of Arts Degree and earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1989. She served as Chief Law Clerk at the Toledo Municipal Court. 

Korleen has been in private practice since 1990, licensed in the states of Michigan and Ohio. In 1996, she joined a large Toledo, Ohio law firm and was instrumental in partnering with Peter's private practice to accquire a Michigan Office. Her law expertise and practice emphasizes probate administration and estate planning.

While active in the Toledo Bar Association, Lucas County Bar Association and Ohio State Bar Association, Korleen also serves on the Bedford Township of Zoning Appeals and involved in Women's Entrepreneurial Network and the Golden Retriever Club of Greater Toledo. She is a recipient of the 20 Under 40 Leadership Recognition Award in the City of Toledo and served on the Board of Trustees for the Northwest Ohio Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for six years, acting as chair of the Board for two years.
